Sovereign debt management has become a key lever for ensuring macroeconomic stability in States, strengthening investor confidence, and securing adequate and sustainable financing for economies.

Within the UMOA region, these issues are at the core of UMOA-Titres’ mission, which supports Member States in the analysis, strategy, and management of their debt.

Arouna SOW is a Statistician Economist Engineer (ENSEA Abidjan) and holder of an Executive Certificate in Financial Markets (FIRST FINANCE Institute), with 18 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, and public debt management. Macroeconomist at UMOA-Titres since 2019, he analyzes the UMOA economic environment, fiscal and budgetary policies, public debt dynamics, and the sustainability of Member States’ debt strategies.
